About RAGS

Romford Autistic Group Support (RAGS) is a support group set up by parents of children with autism within the London Borough of Havering. The group was founded in September 2003 at the request of a groups of dads who wanted to be able to socialise with their children in an accepting, tolerant and non-judgemental environment.

RAGS became a registered charity in 2009.

The management committe of RAGS is comprised almost exclusively of parents with children on the autistic spectrum. So, we have been there and we understand from a personal perspective what families go through. Our support is based on understanding, compassion and respect.

RAGS is proud to be Havering’s support group for parents of children with autism, run by parents of children with autism.
